Get found in an emergency - what three words...
We’re working with the Scottish Ambulance Service to promote the what3words app, which helps emergency services find your exact location in remote and island areas.
RITA: Reminiscence and Interactive Therapy Activities
Helping people with dementia or brain injury through sound, image and memory therapy. Supported by two local nurses and community fundraising.
Islay First Responders
Supporting a volunteer-led emergency response team for the island. Training and fundraising are already underway.
Islay multigenerational garden and polytunnels
A new garden project at Gortanvogie will bring all ages together to grow food, stay active and support wellbeing.
Islay Health and Wellbeing Needs Assessment
A detailed study of what’s missing, what’s working, and where we can improve. Based on community voices and local realities.
